Malaya began with a simple conviction: access to cervical cancer prevention should not depend on a woman's income, address or distance from a major hospital.

A strong diagnostic test is only the beginning. Prevention happens when a woman can enter the screening pathway with dignity, when her specimen is handled responsibly, when a qualified laboratory produces a reliable result, when that result reaches her clearly, and when the next appropriate clinical step is available.

We are building Malaya around that complete responsibility. Our role is to connect HPV DNA testing with community access, qualified laboratories, secure logistics, digital coordination, result delivery and patient navigation. The model is being designed for Philippine realities, from major urban centers to rural, island, upland and hard-to-reach communities.

We understand that national scale cannot simply be announced. It must be earned through evidence, regulatory readiness, accountable partnerships, clinical safeguards, sustainable financing and measurable implementation. We intend to grow in that order.

Our ambition is a Philippines where no screening-eligible woman is left behind because prevention was too distant, too complicated or disconnected from follow-up. We invite public authorities, healthcare providers, laboratories, community organizations, technology partners and responsible investors to help build a pathway that women can enter, complete and trust.

Achilles Lapore Beriña II

I carry the responsibility of ensuring that our medical mission is guided by science, integrity, and genuine service to our people.

My commitment is to help make reliable and accessible cervical cancer screening a reality for more Filipino women, especially those who need it most.

I want my role to mean something beyond a title, to lead with responsibility, protect lives through early detection, and help build a future where fewer Filipino families lose someone to a preventable disease.

My earlier work as a paramedic meant meeting people on some of their hardest days. That shapes how I think about screening access: it has to reach the communities furthest from a clinic, not only the ones closest. Our social impact work exists so no woman is left out because of where she lives.

Rapha Israel Bacud

Director, Warehousing & Logistics

As an engineer who has worked on public infrastructure, I know access is only real when the last mile actually works, on time, every time. My role is to build the warehousing and distribution backbone so a screening kit reaches a community reliably, not occasionally. Reliability is the whole point of this work.

I have spent over a decade building businesses in real estate and hospitality across two countries, and the lesson holds everywhere: sustainable growth is built on discipline, not shortcuts. As Treasurer, my responsibility is to make sure Malaya grows at a pace our finances, our partners and our patients can trust.

Good strategy only matters if it can be coordinated and executed across many moving parts. That coordination, quietly done, is where I try to add the most value.

Marketing a screening product carries a responsibility beyond growth numbers: the words we choose can decide whether a woman trusts a test enough to take it. My focus as Marketing Manager is communication that is accurate, respectful and never overstates what CarciScan can do, because trust is what actually drives access.

Sales, for a screening product, is really about access: getting CarciScan in front of the clinics, laboratories and partners who can put it within reach of more women. As Sales Manager, I focus on building those relationships honestly, on the product's real capabilities, so access grows on a foundation that lasts.
